Passport to Style: The Design Anatomy Tour
Twenty episodes down, and what a journey it's been! Lauren and Bree reflect on Design Anatomy's debut season while sharing exciting news about where the podcast is heading next—literally.
With Paris and Milan firmly in their sights, the hosts are taking The Design Anatomy on the road through exclusive, intimate design tours. Unlike typical tourist experiences, these adventures are crafted for just eight design enthusiasts who'll dine at one table, explore premier showrooms, and immerse themselves in global design destinations. They reveal that their first Paris - Milan tour sold out instantly, proving there's a genuine hunger for these curated design experiences.
Beyond these immediate plans, Lauren and Bree are already researching London for September 2025, coinciding with London Design Festival. Bree's brief but transformative three-day visit recently sparked a love affair with the city's rich design culture, showrooms, and creative energy. Plans for Milan 2026 are also underway, establishing what will become an annual tour to one of design's most influential gatherings.

Thank you so much for listening to Design Anatomy. Bree and I have had an absolute ball talking with you and we are wrapping up Series 1 of the Design Anatomy podcast.
Speaker 2:Yes, it's been a huge journey and an exciting one. I feel like we've spoken to so many great people and had so many great conversations, so if you haven't listened to it all, please do indulge in the 20 episodes that we have up at the moment, while we continue to make more for you, and have a short break, because Lauren and I are off to Paris and Milan, aren't we, lauren?
Speaker 1:Oh my gosh, Brie. We have been planning, we've been scheming, we have been arranging, we've been inviting ourselves to people's homes.
Speaker 1:Yeah you know as you do Exactly, it's so normal. So we have been really busy with that and we are about to take off. We also are going to be running these tours a couple of times a year and I think Milan is going to be a mainstay every March, April it usually happens around the start of April We'll be going. So if you wanted to register your interest, we'll put a little link in the notes.
Speaker 2:And then we are looking at and I guess, spoiler we are looking at London, potentially in September, so we'll also put a link there for you to do if you're interested in that. But look out for details on that and there'll be other ones coming. But yeah, Milan next year, Milan 26 and London 25.
Speaker 1:Yeah, fabulous times ahead London Design Festival here we come, so I'm looking at some stunning accommodation and heaps of cool. I'm going to be doing my research before we go to Paris and Milan. I'm going to be over in London researching this trip for you guys, because London is a design center of the world and it would be just rude for us not to go there Totally rude.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I was there last year and kind of fell in love. So I'm dying to go back and you know, continue my love for London and I only did three days and it was a whirlwind, but it is an amazing city if you have not been, and it is, yeah, it's really entrenched in design and interiors and there's so many great brands there, amazing showrooms and the design festival.
Speaker 1:Obviously it all comes to life as well, exactly, and so we'll be looking for eight cool people to come with us. We are not about taking on a school excursion of people. We want our design tours to be small and special. We want to get to know you and we're going to hang out and we're going to sit at a table at a restaurant, not like take over a whole thing. So that's what we feel like. Our tours are kind of special in that way. So again, just give a tap on the show notes, pop your name down, because I have a feeling that with our Milan tour that we're going on, they just sold out instantly, which is a really great sign, because we know that you want to see cool things, like us.
Speaker 2:So don't hesitate, first in best dressed right.
Speaker 1:Exactly cool.
Speaker 2:So you're on the wait list. We'll notify you when we open the doors for you to pay your deposit. And, yep, like the first one we did, it will be first in best dressed, and we did sell that out very quickly, so I wouldn't wait, if you're interested to jump in get ready so good, all right, see you guys in a bit.
Speaker 1:Whilst we're overseas, we'll be talking about malam when we get back. Thank you guys for making season one just so fun and memorable. Um talk soon. Bye, everyone.
